We work out of Kokstad in KwaZulu-Natal, in the middle of East Griqualand and ten kilometres from the Eastern Cape border. Most of our work sits within a few hours of the workshop — the towns, businesses and farms of the southern Drakensberg and the Griqualand East plateau.
We also take on project work further afield, including the Klein Karoo in the Western Cape.

Where is HML Field Services based?
We are based in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal — the main town of East Griqualand, about ten kilometres from the Eastern Cape border on the N2.
Which areas do you cover?
Kokstad, Underberg and Swartberg in KwaZulu-Natal; Cedarville and the Matatiele district in the Eastern Cape; and De Rust and the Klein Karoo in the Western Cape. If you are near any of those, phone us.
Do you do emergency callouts?

Can you do the electrical installation for a centre pivot?
Yes — full pivot electrical installation including supply, panels, cabling and commissioning. We also fault-find existing pivots that keep tripping or stalling mid-circle.
Will you work on a solar system that someone else installed?
Yes, and it is a lot of what we do. We are the team other installers call when a problem is beyond them. If your system is underperforming, we will find the actual cause rather than selling you a new one.
Do you supply the materials, or must I buy them myself?
We supply cables, components and electrical materials directly as part of a project, so you are not chasing parts yourself. If you would rather supply your own, that is fine too.
What does a pump house job involve?
Anything from construction of the pump house through to the electrical installation and ongoing maintenance — for irrigation, livestock watering or domestic supply.
